Our frontpage just had our 3rd major redesign. The first version was just the editor and the second was the landing page, with the trailer video, a title and big login & signup -forms.

But now, http://www.favor.org -looks, and feels better than ever.

It's actually more of a SPA than just a front page since there's quite a bit of info there. Too much actually , but we'll try to edit and improve it...

I can't get the favor video working right, so the aspect ratio is wrong - Unless you click it to full screen. So click full screen please!

Developer tools are really, really handy things which nearly every browser has. Use them! They are great!

Yes. Like Youtube has about 10 categories but you can put all the tags you want.

I wonder which would be the best categories. Should we emphasize the format or the style eg: #videos or #movies

I guess starting with popular categories from other sites would be a good start.

Oops! I little mistake, all currency amounts in the table should be dollars not euros. I blame Microsoft Excel from where I copypasted this table…

Also, what this article doesn't cover is that there are huge "collateral income possibilites" when having quality content openly for a large audience.

Even though only a small percentage will end up paying you, 100% of visitors are, well, visitors.

One of them might be your future employer. Or one of them will come to your show when your band finally arrives in their hometown.

With our recent update, we redesigned the "Favor Value Details" -menu which opens when clicking the dollar amount. The text is mostly the same as before, but we emphasised one value much higher than before: RPM.

RPM stands for Revenue per thousans views . It is a value that is handy when seeing how much revenue a website creates.
