Favorbruary 2012 - UPDATE
As we are preparing for Rovaniemi Design Week, we're proudly presenting the first big update this year.
- Return the Favor -is now simpler than ever
- User Panel has a new, better appearance

We redesigned the Return the Favor -editor! It now looks a lot better and simpler. Instead of opening a new window for payment, the whole experience is kept inside one window. After paying with PayPal, Credit Card or bank account, you are just a click away from completing the Return. Note that even though it looks a whole lot different, all the same features are there.
As a bonus, we threw a big green "Return the Favor" -button beneath every favor. That's a button we don't want anyone to miss :)
User Panel has had a major overhaul. It looks now a lot better and your info is easier to find & edit.
We also changed the way to upload profile pic. Now it has a crop-tool so you can easily select the part of the picture you want to use. We also added the possibility to upload a custom title-picture that will be the big header on your site. This is good for logos and such. Check it out!
Introducing: Themes
We've combined the "Styles & backgrounds" -selections into Themes. There's more than 20 of them and you still have the freedom to change the background and even the css-stylesheet.
Selecting a theme is easy. Click the yellow "Select Theme" -button on your profile-page and click the thumbnail you want.
We also improved the way to use custom backgrounds. The new editor has nice UI which enables anyone to set their own backgrounds just the way they like - without the knowledge of css. Try it!
Old users: You might want to login and update your profile picture and browse through the Themes. Your old custom backgrounds might not appear the way they did before this update.
Although Favor is in english, which is not going to change, we made this little info site called Favor Suomeksi, which is helpful to finnish users who want to learn more about Favor.
Remember that Favor is open and free platform only limited by your imagination. Use it for your texts, videos, photos etc. Just go to favor.org and sign up for free and start creating your very own Favor page :)
The only place very money comes in is when you create OR see something so cool that a Real Reward is in order. Just like rewarding a street artist!
Edit your Navigation
(BTW: This feature has been live for couple of months but we haven't "announced" it yet.)
Favor consists of users and each user has their own site. And every site has some kind of navigation ( E.g: ALL | FAVORS | RETURNS ).
We have developed a tool which enables users to customize their Favor pages navigation. There the ability to create custom lists with specific tags or even separate pages which are useful for contact info or anything.

Combine this with custom css and you can create a very functional webpage right here in Favor. Isn't that cool?
Also:
- Tags can be edited after publishing a favor, even if it has Returns in it. Helps sorting.
- Video & music favors are embedded into Facebook so people can view them more easily.
- A lot of small tweaks to visual and graphic details.
- Million bugs fixed. Those damn roaches...
